在教学过程中,总是发现学生的一篇短短的100字左右的英语作文是那般的令人不满意:文章词语贫乏,句子意识差;表达不得体,结构单1.1.缺少连贯性等等

每一次考试之后的改卷,总听到老师们在抱怨学生们令人无法忍受的作文.学生英语作文能力的低下,我认为在一定程度上是老师造成的:由于课时紧,作文批改难,老师们通常放弃了英语作文的教学.学生在高中三年基本上没有英语作文的训练,写作文也只是在月考及期中和期末考试这几次大考中,而仅有的这几次机会也还是缺少教师的具体指导,很多时候张贴参考范文.本节课的教学设计就是要创造性地使用教材,融写作训练于课堂教学之中.

2.教材及教学对象分析

2.1教材内容.本案例选取的是牛津高中英语模块七Unit3TheWorldOnline中Weletotheunit部分.主题是Aworldofconnections,课文内容是四副关于网络的图片,通过对这部分内容的讨论,可以让学生了解更多网络运用方面的内容,也锻炼了他们的语言表达能力.

2.2教学对象分析.高二学生经过一年多的学习,已具备一定的英语语言功底,部分学生能表达自己对一些事物的观点;部分学生在掌握了一些关 键 词汇的基础上也能就一定话题发表自己独到的看法,学生间的合作学习也有了很好的发展.

3.教学设计

(由问题的互动,学生积累了写作素材;同时,从整理思路,组织素材,到列出提纲,遣词造句,写出文章,学生写作技能的培养在这里也得到了集中体现;学生通过活动促进了同学间的交流、合作.在此过程中,老师应参与讨论,并适时地加以指导,保持教师组织者和指导者身份,还学生课堂主体的地位.)

Step3Writing.

Getstudentstowriteapassageaboutthe"theadvantagesandthedisadvantagesofshoppingonline".(这时学生实际上是在对前面说的材料进行笔头整理,大多数学生能够成功地写出类似以下的一段短文.)

Advantages:Theproductssoldonlineareusuallycheaperthanthoseinrealshops.Itiseasyandconvenienttopareaproductinseveralonlineshops.Payingforthingsissimpleandthedeliveryisquick.Themostimportantthingisthatshoppingonlinesesalotoftime.

Disadvantages:Sometimesyoumayreceivesomethingthatwasnotwhatyoureallywanted.Thesafetyofthepaymentisnotguaranteedassomeonemaystealtheaccountnumbersonline.Also,somepeoplefalselyadvertiseproductsandthenstealcustomers'money.

Step4教学反思

写作能力的提高,需要一个较长的过程,结合课本,由浅入深、由简到繁地引导学生,是提高写作能力的主要途径.本节课的成功之处在于:设计了一些启发学生思维的问题,让学生围绕问题展开辩论,然后整理加工连成篇章.这种训练提高了学生写作的热情,使学生有话可写,不再谈"写"色变.这节课也暴露了一个问题:在辩论过程中,学生词汇量的狭窄制约了他们在课堂上的表现,多少影响了学生对英语学习的兴趣.因此,今后我将注重词汇的教学,扩大学生的词汇量.
