第一题what指代前面的从句“widely····”中的playwright 应该是个关系代词（这个不是很明白）。第2题如果没有those则缺一个主语。those在前面，that在从句中做主。第3分词短语做定语，its是山啦！第4是过去完成进行时，表示动作过去发生刚刚完成或是还在继续，同时又强调动作的影响。括号中说参加一个互邻的大社区

第一题what指代前面的从句“widely····”中的playwright 应该是个关系代词（这个不是很明白）。如果是指代的话用which才对呀，还有前面的两句是不是都修饰playwright，那第一个逗号后面怎么没有相应的指代词呢？哪位好人分析一下句子成分ok？
第2题如果没有those则缺一个主语。请问those前面那段话作什么成分？
第3分词短语做定语，its是山啦！哪里来的山？到底是whose face？翻译一下可以吗？
第4是过去完成进行时，表示动作过去发生刚刚完成或是还在继续，同时又强调动作的影响。动作过去发生刚刚完成的话应该是过去式，或是还在继续的话应该是完成式，还有joi
n好象是及物动词，为什么要加个with呢？

what是用来做宾语的，brought what to the united stateds stage.....
which 不能做宾语，而且他带的从句只能作修饰the united stateds stage用。
其实是 those of the thousands of varieties of bird specices in North America, 在这里those作代词，做后一句的主语
it是Mount rushmore National Memorial
最后一个，就看成have joined 好了，我觉得没必要理解这么细，不影响做题，这里join with 是指联合起来，不是指加入什么，所以是join with，不是join the party这种。

1。当然不能替换了，用which的话前面根本没有先行词啊。成份是这样的:what 是主语，指代the drama eugene brought to the united states.was是谓语。如果用which的话这句话应该为：Widely acknowledge as ..............., the drama Eugene O Niel brought to the USA which was probably his..............(the drama 充当先行词}
2。用which则句子失去主语，前面是介词结构，当壮语吧我觉得,解题是不用考虑。
3。its就指代主语Mount就是山，意思是那座.......山上有4个总统的头像雕刻，至于face,是拟人手法。

请问：我看到关于名词的使用规则中有一条“单数可数名词前面必须有限定词”，这两句话都出现在改错题中第一句中的Author与第二句中的standard下面都划了线，但都不是错误部分，请问他们的使用为什么是正确的呢？
另外一个问题：Palo Alto, California, is home to some of the world’s foremost academic, (medicine), and research institutions. 这句话中medicine为错误部分，答案是“应改为medical,名词medicine不能修饰institutions”，请问institutions前面的research也是名词呀，这不矛盾吗？

什么玩意，哪一个是画线的？
2）WITH 似乎错，换成of？但好象有两个谓语动词，ARE不要或者之前加WHICH
3）都可以是可数名词，但POPULATION根据意思的不同分可数（人群）和不可数（人口）。查字典嘛！

一般的说来，在语法题中对于冠词的改错无非是a改成an，少了冠词加冠词。很简单。但是我发现了三个例外：
1）（96。8）the nitragen makes up over 78 percent of the Earth s atmosphere.the gaseousmass surrounding the plant.
这一题是把the 改成a. nitragen这里表示一类物质.可作题时怎么也没看出来.是定向思维吗?
2)(97.12海外)the astronomy is the oldest science ,but it continues......(略) 这一题把the去掉,因为学科名词之前不需要冠词.但我还是犯了经验主义和教条主义的错误.根本就没有往这方面想.
3)(98.8)metal works use the term "machine tool"to refer to a piece of an equipemant used for shaping metal . 去掉an ,(又是8月的)
这样的题虽然少,可是出现的时候确实很隐蔽.并且什么时候用a 什么时候用the ,什么时候要冠词.什么时候不要冠词也不是很好辨别.

氖是个特殊名词，astronomy是学科名词，像这些是不用加冠词的。
至于那个equipemant，我想用于shaping metal 的仪器不止一种，用泛指的话，应该是用复数的就是加s
有一个but，说明是平行结构，那它的结构和前面是一样的根据这一点，应该很简单的就可以看出答案是a了

其实我在想an equipment是不是可改成the equipements.另外我发现emotions之前没有冠词,在托福中经常可以看到这个现象(虽然从来不是划线部分,但难上一页 [1] [2] [3] 下一页 |
