Abstract:Inpreviousyears,thetranslationmethodainlycenteredonwordsandmeaningtranslation,whilerecentlyfunctionalitheoryhasshedalightontranslation.Functionalistshighlightthatdifferentmethodologiesshouldbeappliedtodifferenttypeoftext''stranslation.Thispaperbasedonthetheoryoffunctionali,aimstomentson3translationsofWenYuanning''asterpiece.

摘 要:在过去许多年,东西方的翻译理论家都只重视单词和句子的意义翻译,而忽视了文本的类型对于翻译结果所造成的影响.而德国的功能学派翻译理论家赖斯等人提出了文本类型的理论.不仅为翻译的过程和策略的选择提供了新的依据和方法,也为翻译的评判开辟了一个新的视角.本文运用功能理论为视角,评论了《给吴宓先生的一封信》的三个中译本的翻译.

Mr.WuMi-AScholarandaGentlemanexcerptedfromImperfectUnderstandingisanessayontheportraitofWuMi,whichhasbeenwrittenbyscholarWenYanning.AftertherepublishofImperfectUnderstanding,thisessayhasreceivedsensation,whiletheheroofthisessay----WuMistronglycriticizedthisessayandauthor.On1937,Febr.28th,inhisdairyheputthat"":“呜呼,温源宁一刻薄小人耳,纵多读书,少为正论.”FromScholarWu''sremark,itisnothardtoconfirmthatMr.WubelievedthatMr.Yang''entistooharsh.MakingcleartherelationshipbetweentheauthorandheroofthisessaycandeepenourunderstandingoforiginaltextandtheappreciationofChineseversions.ExceptforthecontroversyfromMr.Wuhimself,thisessaycanberegardasremarkableespeciallyintermsofthedescriptionofhero''sappearanceandpersonality.SotheChineseversionsofthisessayalsodeservedtobepunched.Thispaperwouldliketoparethe3Chineseversionromtheperspectiveoffunctionalitheory.

Featuresofthisessay
