本站原创学科简介Introductionofmajor中山大学光华口腔医学院是我国口腔医学被授予博士后科研流动站学院5项科研成果通过鉴定并获奖,在国内外口腔专业杂志发表学术论文篇GuanghuaSchoolofStomatologyofSunYat-SenUniversityisakeystomatologicalschooldirectlyundertheChineseMinistryofEducation.Teaching,clinicalandresearchlevelofthisschoolhereachedthefrontrankinthecountry.Aftertensofyears'developmentandaccumulation,threesuperiorandcharacterfulresearchfieldshebeenformed:basicandclinicalresearchofendodonticdiseases,molecularmechani,preventionandclinicaltreatmentoforalmaxillofacialtumor,basicandclinicalresearchoftemporalmandibularjointandoral-maxillofacialdiseases.ThedisciplineofclinicalstomatologywasgrantedthePh.D-degree-awardingrightanddesignated"PrioritySubjectofGuangdongProvince"in2003,awardedthetitleof"PrestigiousDisciplineofGuangdongProvince"in2004,andgrantedaspost-doctorialresearchmobilestationin2007.Theschoolisnowoneofthekeybaseortrainingspecialistsofstomatologyinthecountry.
Theschoolhaspletesubjectstructures,with15disciplinessuchasEndodontics&,ConservativeDentistry,Periodontology,OralMedicine,Oral&,MaxillofacialSurgery,Prosthodontics,Orthodontics,OralImplantology,OralPublicHealth,PediatricDentistry,andsoon.Theschoolalsohasstrongpowerofhumanresourceorteachingbasingonawell-structuredandinnovativeacademicteam.Atpresent,thereare28professorsand60associateprofessorsintheschool,including14Ph.Dsupervisors.Amongthem,over80%heobtaineddoctorialormaster'sdegree.Academicleaderoftheschool,ProfessorsHuangHongzhangandLingJunqi,arerespectivelyvice-PresidentandExecutiveDirectoroftheChineseStomatologicalAssociation.Manyotherprofessorsoccupythepostsofvice-DirectorandboardmemberofthestandingmitteeofindividualspecialtymitteesoftheChineseStomatologicalAssociation.Theschoolhasrichexperiencesofstudenttraining,withanintakeofmorethan200undergraduateandpostgraduatestudentseachyear.Atpresent,thereareover1100registeredstudents,over50Ph.Dstudentshegraduated.
Inrecentfiveyears,theschoolhasundertakenmanyresearchprojects,including15national,71provincial/ministerialand34departmentalprojects.Fiveresearchachievementshepassedprovincialappraisalandwonprizes.About600academicpapershebeenpublishedinkeynationalandinternational(SCI)journalsand20academicmonographshebeenpublished.Inaddition,withtheschool'srunningofthe"ChinesejournalofStomatologicalResearch(ElectronicVersion)"(oneoftheseriesjournalsunderChineseMedicalAssociation),theacademicimpactofthisschoolwouldbeegreaterandgreaterbothathomeandabroad.
