本站原创9月11日下午,学会在华南理工大学举办了一场走进校园―“中国古代造船技术的四大发明”科普讲座,共有120余名师生和企业会员出席.学会船史学者何国卫高工和金行德高工分别作了题为“中国古代造船技术的四大发明”（何国卫）和“中国古代四大古船种”（金行德）的专题科普讲座.两位专家以详实的历史资料和图片,讲述了中国古代造船技术中水密舱壁、船尾舵、车轮舟、减摇龙骨的四大发明；讲述了“广船”的发展历史和设计上的优点,及其在历史上占据的特殊地位.在专家的讲授和启发下,学生们对古代的“广船”和造船技术四大发明产生了浓厚的兴趣,争相提问,至讲座结束,学生们还是围着专家讨论,活动气氛热烈.本次活动,得到了华工船舶与海洋工程系以及该系学生组织的大力支持和协办.这是本年度学会组织的第三次走进校园科普讲座.

OntheafternoonofSeptember11,apopularsciencelectureofthetopic"FourgreatinventionsofChineseancientshipbuildingtechnology"washeldintheInstituteofSouthChinaUniversityofTechnology（SCUT）bytheGuangdongSocietyofNalArchitectureandMarineEngineering.Atotalofmorethan120teachers,studentsandcorporatemembersattendedthelectures.ScholarsonshipbuildinghistoryresearchHeGuoweiandJinXingdegelecturesrespectivelyonthetopicsof"FourgreatinventionsofancientChineseshipbuildingtechnology"and"China’ourkindsofancientboat".Withdetailedhistoricaldataandpictures,thetwoexpertstellsthestoryoffourinventionsofChineseancientshipbuildingtechnologyincludingthereclaimedwatertightbulkheads,sternrudder,wheelboatandanti-rollingkeel,thedevelopmenthistory,specialpositioninshipbuildinghistoryanddesignadvantagesofGuangzhouShipyard.Thelecturesinspiredgreatlytheinterestsofthestudentsontheancientshipbuildingtechnology.Thisisthethirdtimeforpopularsciencelecturestobegivenincampus.
